Many years ago when we first started our guiding service we
used to run numerous Bream fishing trips on the Norfolk Broads, these were
always successful with many customers returning nets over the magical
100lb mark. We have continued these trips with some of our original
customers although we had stopped advertising them years ago, however
after the continued
demand of this trip we decided to reintroduce them again from 2005. Our
Bream trips are either on the River Thurne system, fishing
the river itself or Hickling Broad, both areas well known for massive
shoals of Bream, or the River Yare which again
has very large shoals of Bream with individual fish well into the
10lb+ mark. Experience has shown that the best bags of fish are caught
at night and during the warmer months of the year. We usually start
the trips about 2 hours before dusk and finish about 1 hour after
dawn, and the trips are only available July 1st to September 30th, unfortunately we limit these trips to only two per week and demand is high particularly
during July and August. To get the best out of this trip prior booking is essential
as we do ensure that the areas fished are heavily pre-baited for several
days prior to fishing in order to hold the large shoals of Bream present.
we therefore are unable to accept bookings with less than 10 days
notice. Tackle hire is available or as with all our other trips you
are most welcome to use your own, minimum of two feeder rods per person
is suggested along with an assortment of feeders etc.. All baits are
supplied by us and included in the trip price, this is particularly useful as only we know
what we have been pre-baiting the areas with and this should ensure
you get the best out of the fishing. |
